True Worship
By Sam Hinn

For the last 17 years, I've been on a journey to learn all I can about what true worship really is. I studied, taught and listened to others teach about worship.

And do you know what I have learned? Worship is not complicated. On the contrary, it is quite simple.

Worship starts with God's love. As we receive His love for us, we respond to that love. Our relationship with Him must be based on the understanding that "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16, NKJV).

Longing For Something More
By Anahid Schweikert

My friend was sick with frustration. You could see it all over her face and hear it in her voice as she talked about unmet expectations at her church.

"You're never satisfied," remarked her husband. Unlike his wife, he was happy with their full-gospel church, and he felt fulfilled in the ways he was serving there. Everything was in place--a beautiful new building, committees ready for action, outreach efforts underway.

But for my friend and others at her church, there was still a deep sense of dissatisfaction. It wasn't a rumbling, like complaining, but more a gnawing hunger for something more--the life-changing presence of the Holy Spirit.

The Lesson of the Seed-Grain
By Jessie Penn-Lewis

Jesus used many analogies to teach us the truths of the kingdom. One of these was the lesson of the seed-grain, in which He compared the life of the believer to the process of development of a grain of wheat.

"'Unless a grain of wheat falls into the gound and dies,'" He said, "'it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain'" (John 12:24, NKJV). This process is the same one we must go through if we are to bear fruit as we are called to do.

Let us turn to the seed-grain and see the picture lesson, that in these last days we may intelligently yield to the pierced hand of God and permit His fullest purposes to be fulfilled in us.

Joined to the Lord, the grain of wheat awakens to

Breaking Evil Agreements
By Mickie Winborn

We have to make countless decisions every day. Sadly, many of us fail to seek God's wisdom. Instead, people in desperate situations often make desperate choices.

But when we make decisions that violate the Word of God, the consequences can be grave. Unwise choices can lead to the destruction of marriages, relationships, families, careers and even life itself.

Some people constantly make wrong decisions based on their faulty belief systems rather than on God's guidance. They think their decision-making processes are under their own private control. But in truth, their choices become casualty covenants with the enemy, resulting in the negative outcomes they have come to expect.

Things Can Change In A Day
By Maureen D. Eha

Are you tired of waiting for a prophetic word to be fulfilled in your life? Have you received it, claimed it, believed for it, fought the good fight of faith with it--and still have yet to see it come to pass?

If so, don't give up! Things can change in a day.

Think about the significant events in the lives of our fathers and mothers in the faith. One day Sarah, Abraham's wife, was just an old woman with a barren womb. The next, she was pregnant with the child of promise. After 24 years of waiting for God's word to come to pass, she was doubtful. But her situation changed--big time--in just a day!

Winning the War In Your Mind
By Kathy Gray

Winning the War In Your Mind By The time we live in is unlike any the world has ever known. I call it the "age of terror" because in this season fear has launched a massive assault on mankind. New dangers and diseases are looming on the horizon. There are major wars being fought abroad, and even on the home front, civilians feel unsafe as they go about their daily business.

But the outward threats are nothing compared to the inner turmoil with which many struggle. Warfare in both the natural and the spiritual realms is taking place on a scale the church has never experienced. Will we be overcomers, or will we be overcome?

The actual battleground is not a geographic location--it's in our minds that the fiercest battles take place. Hebrews 12:3 encourages us to consider the opposition Jesus endured from sinful men so that we do not become "wearied and faint in [our] minds" (KJV).

The Word Will Transform You
By Richard J. Foster

GOD, IN HIS SOVEREIGN GRACE AND outrageous love, has given us in the Bible a written revelation of who He is and what His purposes are for humanity. There is no book that is remotely close to achieving the significance and influence of this one. But the intrinsic power and greatness of the Bible does not make it easy for us to receive the life it offers.

In point of fact, we can often use the Bible in ways that stifle spiritual life or even destroy the soul. The source of the problem is rooted in the two most common objectives of Bible study: (1) The practice of studying the Bible for information or knowledge alone and (2) the tendency to study specific passages of the Bible that speak to particular needs rather than seeking whole-life discipleship to Jesus.

Principles for Spiritual Birthing
By Pat Chen

In this season of spiritual renewal throughout the earth, we hear a lot about travail and "birthing," particularly related to intercession. Often intercessors will experience something similar to what a woman goes through during labor and delivery when they are praying for God's purposes to be fulfilled in the earth.

They are not always the carriers of the vision themselves. But those who intercede are like spiritual midwives who assist in the birthing process.
